How to Apply to Agnes Scott

U.S. citizens and permanent residents, as well as DACA-status or undocumented students, who are currently attending high school or who have graduated from a secondary school but have not attended a college or university since then should submit the following items to apply. View "how to apply" information for international non-citizen applicants or transfer and nontraditional applicants.


Application Checklists

  1. An application for admission, via the , which includes:
    • Teacher Evaluation Form (teacher invitation sent via the Common Application)
    • Secondary School Report  (counselor invitation sent via the Common Application)
    • Official High School Transcript
    • Optional: SAT or ACT scores. Test scores are optional, and you may make the choice about whether or not you would like them to be considered. If you choose to do so, you can self-report your test scores by attaching your score report to the Common Application.
  2. OptionalComplete a virtual or in-person interview with your admission counselor. These interviews can be helpful if you would like to give context to parts of your application, discuss your interests and goals further or learn more about the college and admission process.
  3. Midyear Report (when available)

*Following receipt of your application, the Office of Admission may request additional information, such as an interview or recent grades, if necessary to make an admission decision.

Admission Deadlines for Fall 2025 Admission

Early Decision (Binding)

If 快播AV is your top choice or your dream school, you may wish to apply via Early Decision. You must submit an application by the stated deadline. You will be considered for all merit-based scholarships, and you will receive your admission decision within a month. Important: Applying Early Decision commits you to enroll at Agnes Scott if you are admitted. You may only apply to one college under Early Decision. 

Early Action I

If you are ready to apply to 快播AV, but you want to consider other colleges, Early Action I or II are your best options. Students applying Early Action I are eligible for merit scholarships.

Early Action II

Students applying Early Action II are eligible for merit scholarships.

Regular Decision

Merit-based scholarships are not guaranteed for this deadline, though students will still be considered for all merit scholarships.

The Atlanta Grant

The Atlanta Grant is awarded to all out-of-state students in addition to merit and need based awards. This grant is designed to supplement the cost for out-of-state students so they can experience all that Atlanta has to offer. Come make your mark in the most exciting city in the South!

  • $3,000 out-of-state student grant renewable for 4 years ($12,000 total)
  • Awarded with Admission decision
  • International and DACA/UD students are eligible

*Students meeting Georgia residency requirements are not eligible for the Atlanta Grant.

The Agnes Scott $100K Promise

A $100,000 promise for Fall 2025 admitted students

Thoughtful students in class
The Agnes Scott $100K Promise is for all students applying for the Fall 2025 school year. If you are admitted to Agnes Scott for Fall 2025, you will receive at least a $25,000 renewable merit-based scholarship annually. Over your four years at Agnes Scott, that will become the promised $100,000. Based on the strength of your application, you may be considered for higher scholarships, ranging from $26,000-$28,000 per year (a four-year total of $104,000-$112,000).
